Real Time - Zuiderzee Clock / Maarten Baas

Maarten Baas made a film of the Zuiderzee Clock shown here especially for the Zuiderzee Museum. The shooting took place on the beach of Katwijk aan Zee from 29 September to 1 October 2009, between 07.30 and 19.30, in real Dutch autumnal weather. The hands and the hours are made of wreckage. People in yellow oilskins adjust the time every five minutes.
