The ferry leaves from the jetty behind the VVV office (opposite Enkhuizen’s NS railway Station) on a regular basis from 30 March up to 28 October 2018. For more information, please see our route information.

If I want to visit the Zuiderzee Museum, where is the best place to park my car?

Can I also park on the Wierdijk in Enkhuizen?

The parking facilities on the Wierdijk are not ideal. Most of the parking bays are exclusively for people with parking permits. In addition, the city centre is difficult to reach by car. For more information, please see our route information.

Yes, you can enjoy free entry to the Museum upon presentation of your I amsterdam City Card.

Are pets allowed in the Museum?

No, pets are not allowed in the Museum. However, guide dogs accompanying blind visitors as well as specifically trained service dogs are allowed in the Zuiderzee Museum.

Can I pay by switch card or credit card at the cash desk of the Zuiderzee Museum?

It is possible to pay both by switch card and by credit card at all cash desks and shops. ​

Can I take my own boat to the Outdoor Museum?

No, you can’t moor up at the Outdoor Museum in your own boat. You can look for a place to moor at the nearby Compagniehaven (harbour) or Enkhuizen’s communal harbour. Both harbours have spaces for visitors. The Compagniehaven is located across from the Zuiderzee Museum’s entrance.
