Accessibility
Yes, the Museum is wheelchair friendly. For all information regarding accessibility for wheelchair users go to our wheelchair friendly page.
No, we regret that means of transport such as Segways, hoverboards, electric scooters or skateboards are not allowed inside the Museum grounds due to safety regulations: the speed of such means of transport differs significantly from that of pedestrians and playing children, which increases the risk of accidents. Bicycles and mopeds are not allowed either. However, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are welcome in the Museum grounds. And the same holds for other aids that visitors cannot possibly do without such as wheeled walkers, zimmer frames etc.
No, we regret that this is not allowed. You can, however, try to find a berth in the nearby Compagnies harbour or the Enkhuizen municipal harbour. Both have berths for transient boats. The Compagnies harbour is situated next to the entrance of the Zuiderzee Museum.
For safety reasons, children's scooters and balance bikes are not allowed in the Museum.
